This instrument was known as an outcast, never existence played in concerts. This made guitars more famous, and caused better and improved designs to be made. Many lot began to play the guitar, including Benjamin Franklin and Andrew Jackson. Over 78 thousand guitars were made in the year, 1900. The 20th century was a really prosperous time for the guitar. Manufacturers began making steel-stringed guitars which are popular today. Fender and Gibson twain went on creating guitars almost as in a competition. By the 1960s, the guitar was in full matured. Gibson produced another electric guitar model in 1961, the ES-335. This was a semi-hollow body guitar.. The Strat and the SG were in truth popular guitars, especial ly in the 1960s.
